学校简介
纽约州立大学-水牛城分校由南校区、北校区以及市内校区共计三个校区组成，现有14个学院，共开设300多个学士、硕士和博士专业，是全美最大，开设课程最多的大学之一，知名的学院包括：管理商学院，艺术学院，教育学院，工程学院，医疗生化学院及法学院等，每一项科系几乎都排名在全美公立大学前10名，是国际顶尖的大学之一。学校成立于1846 年，1962 年并入纽约州立大学系统，1989 年受邀加入美国大学协会。依卡内基学术基金会分类，学校被归为博士研究综合型大学，并被列为全美明星级大学，声誉卓著。学校校友和教职人员中包括多位太空人，诺贝尔奖得主，和普利策奖得主。
