项目简介
The HKUST MSc Program in Electronic Engineering brings students up to date in the range of technologies that are increasing the speed at which we can acquire, interpret, and act upon information. Students will master: advances in networking, communication, photonics and display technologies, which improve our access to information; advances in signal processing and pattern recognition, which enable computers to analyze this information automatically; advances in automation and control, which enable rapid reconfiguration of production lines in response to market changes; and the advances in chip design and computer architecture that power these technologies.

Target Students
The part-time program is targeted at working professionals in industry who wish to upgrade their knowledge in a broad range of subjects in Electronic Engineering. The full-time program is intended for students who wish to accelerate the completion of their degree. Fresh graduates who have good academic record are also our targets.这个兼职项目针对的是工业领域的专业人士，他们希望把他们在电子工程领域的知识提升到更广泛的领域。这个全日制课程是为那些希望加速完成学业的学生准备的。有良好学术记录的应届毕业生也是我们的目标。
Admission Requirement
Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or tertiary institution.申请人必须具有电子/电子/计算机工程或相关领域的学士学位，或已被认可的大学或高等院校的同等学历。
English Requirements
Applicants from Universities where English is not the medium of instruction, please provide an English proficiency proof in the application. Some recommended scores are as follows:
IELTS Overall score ≥ 6.0 All sub-scores ≥ 5.5
TOEFL(iBT) score ≥ 80

* Student may take EESM 5900 for a maximum of 6 credits.
Alternatively, subject to prior approval of the Program Director, students may take a maximum of 9 credits of coursework offered by other self-financing MSc programs, including:
A maximum of 9 credits of EESM courses offered by the MSc program in IC Design Engineering, and the MSc program in Telecommunications, or
A maximum of 3 credits of non-EESM courses.
The availability of courses offered by other self-financing MSc programs may be subject to quota limitations imposed by individual programs.
或者，经计划主任事先批准，学生最多可以获得其他自资硕士课程提供的9学分课程，包括：
由集成电路设计工程硕士课程提供的EESM课程的9个学分，以及电信的理学硕士课程。
非eesm课程的3个学分。
其他自筹资金项目提供的课程可能会受到个别项目实施的配额限制。

Accreditation of MSc Program by HKICM
Graduates of the MSc in Civil Infrastructural Engineering and Management program are academically acceptable for the Corporate membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers.土木基础设施工程和管理硕士课程的毕业生在学术上可以接受香港建筑管理学院的会员资格。
Date of Program Commencement
September and February every year. Early application is advisable.
