爱的同学们、家长们，

近期爆发的新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情，令我们的周遭一瞬间发生了变化，因此，格里昂做出暂时关闭三大校区的决定，同时开设网上授课的教学方式。

在学校全力的支持下，大部分的学生已安全地踏上回家的旅程。而对于各种原因不能回国而停留在校园的学生，格里昂酒店管理大学亦已妥当安置好，并将继续照顾他们的生活。

的确，这次疫情是我们这一代人所面对的重大挑战。然而，强大的格里昂精神坚不可摧。只有在逆境中百折不挠，才能走向真正的卓越。当风迎面吹来，我们迎难而上。

格里昂酒店管理大学将与全体师生并肩，一起共克难关。当这场抗击疫情的战斗结束时，我们热切期待各位同学回归课堂。

In the blink of an eye we have seen our world transformed. Life Across all three of our campuses is paused, as we support our amazingly dedicated and resourceful student community in their journeys home to their families. For those unable to travel, we have found safe places where we can continue to look after their welfare.

This is indeed the challenge of our generation; but the Glion Spirit is too powerful to be crushed by it. True excellence is achieved when the tide is against you. When the wind is not at your back, but in your face.

When this crisis is over, we will be ready to welcome our students back to class. We are the Glion community and we will get through this together.
